The First Step
Please telephone or email me to make an Introductory appointment. Once we have agreed a date, I will invoice you and will confirm the appointment once I have received payment,
I will then send you a quesionnaire about you, your life experience and your expectations of the work to complete and return to me prior to our session.
The Introductory Meeting
The Introductory meeting lasts one hour to review the questionnaire, discuss your background, explore your hopes and expectations for the work, ask questions and agree the way forward.
A Few Things
- Health Considerations - While the Pandemic Guidelines have now been relaxed, Covid has not gone away. Please respect that if you are or suspect that you are Covid positive or have other infectious complaintsm please do not attend a Face-to-Face session and either attend online or re-book.
- Crisis - This is not a Crisis Call Centre. If you feel you are in desperate crisis, please try to find an appropriate Help Line, use the NHS 111 Emergency and Urgent Care line or contact your GP straightaway.
- You must be 18 or older and located in the UK to use this service.
The Meeting Space
The Next Six Weeks
Once we have agreed to move forward, a block of six 60-minute sessions at a regular time will be agreed and then confirmed once I have received payment. If we work online via Meet, I will send you invitations for those six weeks.
It is important to choose a time that you will be able to make each week and when you can be assured of privacy and not be disrupted.
The Work Begins
At the first session, we confirm the topic to focus on that day, explore your progress so far, hopes, fears, struggles, strengths, experience, abilities, loves and hates.
Near the end of the session, we summarise our disussion and what you might take away from the work.
The following five sessions follow along the lines of above with time to reflect on you have put into practice what you have taken from the previous week.
The Sixth Week
In addition to our weekly work, we decide whether you feel you have taken what you need or whether you would like to continue with further work.
